Okatoma Kayak Trip - Navigators & Adventurers

The Navigator & Adventurer Units will be doing a day trip to kayak the Okatoma Creek in Seminary, MS on Saturday, August 27, 2022. The cost of the trip for kayak rental and transportation from the outdoor center to the river and back is $37 per participant (including tax).

Participants are able to bring their own kayaks if they choose; however, the Okatoma Outdoor Post charges a fee of $23 per boat (including tax) to transport you and your boat to and from the river. If you prefer to save the $14 or prefer to use your own equipment, you have that option. Because we will be travelling with a large group and most will be renting gear, we will not be setup to drop boats and shuttle participants to and from the put in and take out. If you are bringing your own boat, you will need to allow Okatoma Outdoor Post ferry your boat for you.

The registration form includes an option for you to indicate if you are bringing your own kayak. If you are planning to bring your own kayak, please add the item for Kayak Transportation Only to your cart instead of the Kayak Rental and Transportation.

All participants will need to bring their own lunch, snacks and drinks for the trip.

IMPORTANT: Each participant (youth and adult) must register and check out separately. Do not register more than one person at a time, and do not add more than one item to your cart.
